I’ve spent the last 20+ years building software — most recently as an engineer at Red Hat, and along the way as an entrepreneur working on a handful of my own projects. After years of writing, patching, and re-patching scrapers for those projects, I got tired of the same cycle: build something that works, watch it break the following Monday, spend the week fixing it, repeat.
I started FlyByAPIs in May 2025 to turn the tooling I’d built for myself into something developers, agencies, and SaaS teams who need reliable web data could use without going through the same pain. Today I run it as a solo operation — focused on doing a few APIs really well rather than spreading thin.
